Türkçe- Pamukkale is a naturel wonder unique in the world formed by water over thousands of years. At a tempareture of 35 C the calceus waters come out of the ground , fall down the mountain side and form many pools which overflow to form stalactites,hence the name ‘Cotton Castle’ ( the translation of Pamukkale). Bathing in the pleasantly warm waters has a positive effects on all people with problems of blood circulations ,nerve system , heart ,rheumatism ,skin diseases etc. The ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis dating from 190 BC can also be seen in this area.
